Over 15 years of teaching in the UK and internationally has taught me that all students can succeed with school mathematics but for various reasons, some struggle to make the progress they should.

Some need:​

  • More time to think about and understand the maths they are learning.
  • Alternative explanations or representations to help them see the connections across Mathematics.
  • Increased frequency and an alternative structure to the practice they are doing so learning can be maximised.

All of these needs - and more - are met with one-to-one tuition.

I have worked one-to-one with students from age 10 - 18 for over a decade and have helped my tutees build knowledge, skills and confidence in mathematics. In many cases, the progress they have seen in mathematics has boosted their confidence in their other subjects and has helped them go on to achieve at levels they had never thought possible.

I have experience teaching Scottish N5, Higher, Advanced Higher, IGCSE Core and Extended and the IB Standard & Higher Level.

​Fees vary depending on the level of mathematics being studied. The fee includes individualised homework after every session plus feedback to parents/guardians as required.

​All you need is a device with internet access, a webcam and a microphone.
